  2. What questions do you have? What has your attention focused on during the last week?
  3. Opening write (5–10 min.):
    1. As specifically as possible: what do you take the words racist or racism to mean?
      • We'll probably follow Omi and Winant (notes here) or Cohen's Douchebag on this one.
    2. Where do you see moments of racism in this play? Find specific passages, ideally those where there is racism exhibited by characters other than Iago.
    3. How are these moments specifically racist, in the ways that we've discussed?
