Both Kodak TMax 100 exposed at EI; both exposed in the Pentax K-1000.

Mixed one liter of Caffenol C-L: 16g waterfree washing soda, 10g Vitamin C, 15g iodized table salt, then 40g instant coffee (Kroger); let stand five minutes. Mixed each into ~950mL water at 68 degrees in indicated order, shaking each to ensure it is fully dissolved. Added water at 68 degrees to 1L. Let stand five minutes. The intent is to develop two more rolls of film with the other half of the batch later today.

Poured out pre-wetting water (pink!), then poured developer into tank and started timer for 70 minutes. Agitated gently 15x over first 30 seconds, then let stand at edge of sink. Agitated 15x over 30 seconds at 7:30 in. Agitated gently 10x at 15 minutes in, then every fifteen minutes thereafter, alternating each time which end tank rested on, and always knocking on the bottom to dislodge air bubbles..

Rinsed ~5 minutes in tap water at ~68 degrees, emptying container entirely multiple times. Fixed in a new 500mL batch of Ilford Rapid Fixer 1+4 (that’s now 2 rolls on this batch of fixer), agitating continuously for two and a half minutes. (Fixing test: part of a strip was exposed to fixer for 25 seconds, then, when dropped in, took 30 seconds to become completely clear. This seems ridiculously fast to me, but then, how often have I mixed my own fixer in the past? Quintuping instead of tripling the clear time to hedge my bets a bit.) Reclaimed fixer, then rinsed 10 minutes in 68 degree water. Finger-squeegied each roll, then cracked it like a whip several times, then finger-squeegied again, then hung the negatives horizontally to dry.
