2. Administrative Issues:
   • Remember that your poetry close reading assignment is due on Monday: by noon in my mail box (SH 3421) and before midnight via email.
     • For class next week, please bring two copies of your close reading assignment to receive feedback from your peers. You can either bring the exact same assignment you turned in, or continue to develop it after you turn it in. (Remember that this assignment will ultimately be turned in to a longer persuasive paper, so you're welcome to continue developing it between Monday and Wednesday.)
   • Remember that thesis statement #3 is due by email before midnight on Tuesday.
3. Questions for discussion:
   1. Taking a look at Professor Waid’s list of terms that will be important on the midterm, pick three unrelated terms that you feel comfortable identifying, and choose examples of them from the texts that we have read so far in this course.
   2. Choose three terms whose definitions or relevance you find less clear, and that you would like to discuss in section tonight. Write them down.
