This is a final opportunity for those who created the study guide, or used it as a study aid, or both to score a few extra points. Basically, I would like to hear how useful the study guide/make-up "quiz" assignment was for you in terms of preparing for the final, and will buy your impressions from you for an additional 1% to 2% boost in your course grade.
In order to receive these points, what you need to do is to take a survey (links to the surveys are below). There are two different quizzes — one for people who used the study guide as a review aid, and one for people who collaborated on editing the study guide. If you fill out the survey for study-guide editors but did not collaborate on editing the study guide, you will not receive any points. Similarly, if you edited the study guide but fill out the survey for people who only used it as a review tool, you will not receive any points.
Scoring: Anyone completing all required questions on the surveys will receive at least five points (1% boost to your total course grade). Some students will receive more points because they provide well-articulated answers that reflect deeply and effectively on their own study and learning processes, and because they provide genuinely useful feedback that I will be able to make effective use of when assigning new iterations of this assignment in the future. The maximum bonus possible on either version of the quiz is ten points (2% of total course grade).
Caveats: This assignment is only available until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, 13 September. No late extra-credit surveys will be accepted for any reason at all — not even in the event of a technical problem or an emergency. If you have already received extra credit for making a presentation to the class, then you have already received more extra credit than is available from these quizzes and cannot receive any points for them (though your input would still be welcome, should you choose to provide it).
